After being a professional guitar teacher for over 18 years, the first advice I will give you right out of the gate is get PRO and planned guitar lessons. The beginner guitarist is going waste a ton of time trying to find free guitar lessons that is going to produce very poor progress.

As a professional guitar teacher I see students make this mistake almost every time, and I tell them just step up and spend the $19 it takes to join any of the paid lessons memberships online. After they do their skills DRAMATICALLY improve.

Seriously, you need a planned out, in order, step by step training from skilled guitarists. This is the fastest way to get better.

Learn Guitar With Radioactiveguitar.com

Radioactive Guitar is your number one source for learning the best songs to learn on acoustic guitar for beginners. Here you will learn the top 10 easy guitar songs. No need for you to search the internet for inaccurate user generated content on the top 10 acoustic guitar songs to learn which require you to have a degree in music to play

Here you can pick and choose from the easiest Beatles songs to play on guitar or the top 10 easiest Taylor Swift songs to play on guitar. It’s up to you. No more searching, no more horrible lessons that show you how to play songs wrong and have you frustrated because they don’t sound right.

I have over 18 years of experience teaching guitar and I know what it is you want to learn. You wan to learn the music of your favorite artists. All people learning guitar want that. It’s just the way it is. You probably can see yourself right now playing a Taylor Swift song in front of the whole school at a talent show. But you need to get directly to practicing the chords of the song right away.

My theory is you have a vision in your mind of being onstage in front of people playing the top acoustic guitar songs like “Ho Hey” by the Lumineers, then why do you need to learn 3 notes on the first string now. You don’t need to learn that right now. Right now you need to learn C F Amin and G.

On this website I want to help you get the quickest rout to what you are trying to learn. There are a thousand books out there that will teach you the notes in the first position. If that is what you want to learn then I recommend getting one of them and learning from that. (If you would like a recommendation just mention it in the comments section below and I will give you my recommendation). But with this site I want to focus on one thing and one thing only: getting you to be able to play the music of your favorite artists.

Does that sound like a good plan? I want to show you how to learn guitar chords fast and easy. I want to show you how to learn the top 10 easy country guitar songs without spending time learning the stuff that is of no interest to you right now.

I know the Best songs to learn on acoustic guitar for beginners and the quickest way to get playing them without spending your valuable time learning useless stuff that bores you and frustrates you. I have access to amazing resources like www.guitartricks.com, which you can join for free and also jamplay.com, which by the way is absolutely freakin amazing. My students introduced me to that site!! I wish it was there when I started playing.

When I started playing I learned how to read some notes and play some chords but I wasn’t learning songs. I wanted t be playing songs. I learned songs from my friends but not from my teacher. That’s one of the reasons I am so big on you being able to use your favorite songs to learn things like beginner guitar chords finger placement. The other reason is because experience has taught me that if a student is not playing songs as a vehicle to learn about the guitar, then they probably wont practice that much.

I know some old school teachers will lose their minds reading this but I have proven to myself and my students over and over and over again, that if you don’t have something to practice that is keeping your interest peaked, then you will practice way less.

So enough of me flying the flag for learning through songs, time for you to look around the site read some articles, watch some videos and check out the 2 websites I mentioned, they are both ridiculously amazing.

One last thing if you found this site to be useful I ask you to click some of the share buttons and share these pages on facebook, google plus ect.  It helps to spread the message of this site and it helps out other people just like you who really want to learn about playing guitar
